Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Human Resources Assistant for our esteemed client in the HR sector. Join a dynamic team where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting HR functions and ensuring a seamless employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Tier 1 HR support for employee and manager inquiries, ensuring timely responses or appropriate escalation to other HR functions.
- Manage the monthly random drug screening program for all locations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain both electronic and paper employee files accurately and confidentially.
- Execute back-office transactions for general HR data processing, including running ad-hoc and scheduled reports, data entry, reconciliation, and communications.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by HR leadership.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in HRIS platforms, particularly with Workday, and the ability to perform Workday transactions with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with ADP e-time system.
- Proactive collaboration with Payroll, HRIS associates, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Basic understanding of employment laws related to the hiring process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in an HR Call Center or HR Shared Service Center is preferred.
- Ability to interpret and effectively communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Task-oriented with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working autonomously with general direction.
