Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Human Resources Generalist for our prestigious client. Join a dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in redefining and building out the company’s culture while overseeing essential HR functions. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations, championing the company culture, coordinating various team events, and handling day-to-day HR activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll operations using ADP – Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Serve as a champion for company culture by coordinating team lunches, holiday events, and monthly happy hours, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Lead special projects aimed at enhancing the company culture, taking ownership from inception to completion to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct general HR duties including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and explaining benefits to employees, as well as managing 401k onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Act as the point person for HR audits, ensuring payroll registry and processes are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Provide day-to-day coaching and support to employees, handling general HR inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist with light recruiting activities, collaborating with the HR Director as needed to attract top talent to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Proven experience with ADP – Workforce Now is essential.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations, with the ability to manage payroll operations independently.
- Demonstrated ability to champion company culture and organize engaging team events.
- Experience with benefits administration, including explaining benefits to employees and managing 401k processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Previous experience in HR audits and familiarity with HRIS systems is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities.
