The Bilingual Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting with a primary focus on high-volume DOT and blue-collar hiring while also supporting professional positions as business needs evolve. This role will manage approximately 20–30 requisitions at a time, partner directly with hiring managers and HR leaders, and develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill talent. The Bilingual Recruiter will be especially well suited for someone with in-house recruiting experience within construction, transportation, logistics, building materials, or a similar industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition intake through offer and onboarding support for blue-collar and white-collar positions.
- Recruit high-volume DOT drivers, equipment operators, skilled labor, and other operational talent.
- Partner directly with hiring managers and HR leaders to define requirements, recruiting strategies, and interview processes.
- Manage approximately 20–30 open requisitions while meeting established hiring targets and deadlines.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Handshake, direct outreach, networking, and recruiting events.
- Conduct candidate screens and evaluate qualifications, certifications, employment history, and position requirements.
- Provide hiring managers with labor-market insights, talent availability, and compensation information.
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
- Track and report recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and time-to-hire.
- Support offer negotiations, background screening, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding activities.
- Develop sourcing strategies and process improvements to address changing workforce needs.
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting blue-collar and white-collar positions required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish capabilities preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated high-volume recruiting experience, preferably within construction, transportation, logistics, building materials, or a similar industry.
- Experience recruiting DOT drivers and other skilled blue-collar positions strongly preferred.
- In-house/corporate recruiting experience and direct partnership with internal hiring managers strongly preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including generating recruiting reports.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems; SAP SuccessFactors experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques, behavioral interviewing, offer negotiation, and hiring compliance.
- Familiarity with DOT requirements and safety standards preferred.
