Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Project Control Lead (PCL) for our esteemed client in the renewable energy sector. As a Project Control Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing project control activities for significant biogas projects, ensuring effective contract administration, and providing vital project support services. This position offers an opportunity to lead and develop a project control team while contributing to the efficient execution of groundbreaking projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project control activities throughout the FEL3/FEED and Execution (EPC/PC) phases of biogas projects.
- Oversee effective contract administration, including contract preparation, negotiation, and management.
- Manage costs follow-up and integrated planning to ensure efficient resource allocation and budget adherence.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and manage contracts, agreements, and other project documentation in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project control procedures and systems to support efficient project execution.
- Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
- Collaborate closely with the BioGas Project Manager and other project team members to ensure alignment of project control activities with project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in project controls and contract administration, preferably in the renewable energy or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Experience leading project control teams and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work from either the Houston office or Newport Beach, CA, with potential for occasional travel as required.
