Responsibilities:
- Manage daily needs of staff, ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are covered efficiently.
- Communicate and present results to senior management across different departments and geographical locations.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Respond to internal and external auditor requests promptly and effectively.
- Review and approve monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Summarize and communicate monthly financial statements and budget variance analysis to upper management.
- Collaborate with operations and accounting personnel to provide advice and technical assistance, ensuring correct financial accounting.
- Provide guidance on root cause analysis and implement necessary corrections.
- Drive the review of system annual standard costs and execute updates as needed.
- Assist in the monthly review of project budgets, offering insights and recommendations.
- Develop automated streamline processes for reporting or data analysis to improve efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for review by upper management.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and cost accounting projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3 years of accounting, auditing, or relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Smart View, Snowflake, Power BI, and Alteryx is advantageous.
- Background in a manufacturing standard cost environment is preferred.
- Dedication to meeting customer requests and required time commitments.
- Ability to relate manufacturing activities, system transactions, and processes to financial outcomes.
