Primary Services is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Compensation Analyst for our esteemed client in the retail energy sector. Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of company-wide rewards processes including merit increases, annual incentives, and equity awards.
- Conduct job analysis, evaluation, and salary administration to determine appropriate salary grades, ranges, and pricing based on internal and external equity standards.
- Participate in annual and ad-hoc compensation surveys, ensuring data accuracy, timely submission, and thorough review of survey results and analytics.
- Manage compensation and employee data within HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Conduct moderately complex analytics to support compensation programs, including the annual reward cycle and ad-hoc pay recommendations.
- Develop tools and training materials to assist HR Business Partners in making individual or group compensation decisions.
- Provide guidance to HR Business Partners on compensation actions, utilizing established structures and guidelines.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation-related programs, including base pay recommendations, policy interpretations, and market prevalence of compensation practices.
- Ensure pay practices comply with U.S. federal and state requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in Compensation, Human Resources, or a combination.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Compensation Analyst Credential (CAC) preferred.
- Self-starter with excellent time and task management skills.
- Team-oriented individual willing to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset, leveraging programs to meet customer requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, managing expectations and timelines effectively.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships within and outside of Human Resources.
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and presenting recommendations effectively.
- Experience with ADP Vantage HCM and MarketPay compensation system preferred.
- Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
