Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Supply Chain Associate for our client in the energy sector. Join a dynamic team focused on developing and implementing supply chain strategies to support Permian Wells operations. As a Supply Chain Associate, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and monitoring supply chain activities to create value and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, control, and monitor supply chain activities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop category strategies based on in-depth knowledge of market conditions specific to the category.
- Lead all Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, ensuring adherence to Supply Chain Standards and delivering value-driven commercial solutions.
- Negotiate and manage contractual terms and conditions for the purchase of materials and services, utilizing various contractual documents.
- Provide strategic thinking and tactical support through effective supplier performance management.
- Develop, maintain, and implement Supplier Performance Management Plans for key suppliers.
- Collaborate with other Completion Supply Chain counterparts to align sourcing and contracting strategies.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Supply Chain Standards.
- Collaborate with Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) to ensure suppliers adhere to HSE Standards.
- Maintain a culture of diversity and inclusion, considering all perspectives in supply chain execution.
Qualifications:
Basic/Required:
- 1+ years of supply chain, business, or related technical experience.
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related technical field.
- 2+ years of supply chain, business, or related technical experience.
- Strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Demonstrated ownership of actions and commitment to results.
- Ability to analyze stakeholder needs and market trends to drive positive performance.
