College Hiring Outlook Best in a Decade
According to a survey by CareerBuilder, 67% of employers are looking to hire recent graduates this year with 37% at a higher salary than the previous year, and some with a starting salary over $50,000.
However, there are employer who are concerned that academic experience may not fully prepare recent graduates for the working world. Specific concerns included lack of internship experience, real-world experience, and blended technical and liberal arts skills among more. Skills that employers feel recent graduates lack include: leadership, teamwork, communication, creative thinking, and project management.

- Computer and Information Sciences
- Engineering
- Math and Statistics
