Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst to support a large client in the energy industry. This role coordinates customer orders, logistics execution, inventory management, invoicing, and compliance across North American domestic and international shipments. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and experience in customer service, logistics, supply chain, or order management, with the opportunity to develop expertise in Power BI and Power Automate.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders through the full order-to-cash process, including delivery, invoicing, and issue resolution.
- Execute SAP transactions for order processing, credit and availability checks, shipment processing, invoicing, and credit/debit memos.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers, railroads, warehouses, terminals, tolling plants, transload facilities, and plant shipping teams.
- Prepare and maintain shipping, hazardous materials, customs, import/export, and customer documentation to support regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory across customer, terminal, warehouse, and third-party storage locations and report results to Accounting and Finance.
- Maintain SAP master data, pricing information, and related business records.
- Resolve pricing, quantity, delivery, and invoicing discrepancies with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support customer onboarding, product documentation, technical assistance, forecasting, inventory planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support month-end close activities, audits, SOX controls, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
- Identify and recommend improvements to processes, SAP data quality, forecasting, inventory planning, and cross-functional execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in customer service, logistics, supply chain, order management, or related business operations.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft 365 applications, including advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze data, maintain accurate records and master data, and support audit documentation.
- Knowledge of shipping, hazardous materials, and import/export requirements preferred.
- Experience with transportation, customer service, or compliance systems preferred.
- Power BI and Power Automate experience or the ability to learn and apply these tools.
- Strong communication, customer service, relationship management, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
