5% Bump in Average Salary for 2015 Graduates
The National Association of Colleges and Employers’ 2015 Fall Salary Survey revealed that the average salary for the class of 2015, bachelor-degreed grads is 5.2% higher than the final salary reported for the class of 2014.
The overall average salary for bachelor’s degree graduates for this class is $50,651, which is higher than the $48,127 of last year’s graduates.
The top-earning disciplines with the highest average salaries were as follows:
- Computer science and information: $65,849
- Engineering: $61,819
- Liberal arts and sciences: $50,116
- Business: $49,536
Although this is an early reporting time, and the data is limited, researchers believe that so far the averages seem to be fairly consistent with last year’s. The data will, however, be more closely examined in the Spring 2016 survey.
