Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Total Rewards Analyst for our client in the energy sector. As a Total Rewards Analyst, you will be a vital member of the HR team, managing employee health, welfare, and retirement plans for the U.S. and Canadian workforce. This position requires strong collaboration with benefits brokers, insurance providers, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth plan administration and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer health, welfare, and retirement plans for U.S. and Canadian employees, including enrollments, terminations, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with benefits brokers, insurance providers, and third-party vendors to resolve benefit-related issues and ensure effective plan use.
- Conduct benefit analyses during M&A due diligence, identifying risks, costs, and integration recommendations.
- Oversee 401(k) plan administration, ensuring compliance, managing withdrawals, and leading the annual 401(k) audit.
- Work with HRIS and ADP to configure the benefits module in ADP Vantage and manage enrollment processes.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and HR teams to maintain up-to-date plan documents and ensure timely submission of annual filings.
- Evaluate and recommend benefit plan changes to maintain market competitiveness.
- Lead the annual open enrollment process and develop educational materials to support employee awareness of benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline required.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resources administering Health and Welfare and Retirement plans.
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, plan designs, and third-party record keeping/administration required.
- Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and related state and federal regulations required.
- Experience with Canadian benefit plan administration preferred.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
- Experience with ADP Vantage HCM required.
- Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred.
- Must be in the Houston, Texas area.
