Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Senior Production Engineer for our prestigious client, a leader in the LNG industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a passion for optimizing LNG production processes and contributing to the development of new technologies aimed at enhancing operational performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Set daily production targets for the Facility LNG Trains and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to develop the daily Production Plan.
- Build and maintain real-time surveillance and monitoring models to optimize the performance and availability of the LNG Liquefaction Trains.
- Perform analysis to detect deviations from operational limits and identify actions needed to maximize LNG rundown safely.
- Identify short-, medium-, and long-term initiatives to improve LNG production availability and reliability based on real-time system data and models.
- Recognize production risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential impacts on availability and reliability.
- Provide input to weekly and monthly production reviews, ensuring necessary actions are taken to enhance LNG Trains performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to review, report, and manage production losses in a timely manner.
- Lead or participate in Engineering Investigation Requests (EIRs) and Management of Change (MoCs) processes to improve LNG Train performance.
- Lead or contribute to root cause analyses (RCAs) for LNG production loss events.
- Support the Forecast and Annual Delivery Plan process by gathering LNG Trains performance data and providing input.
- Assist in the Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) process, providing necessary analysis and insights.
- Contribute to the development of Integrated Production Excellence standards and procedures.
- Capture lessons learned and provide input to other LNG projects/sites within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical Engineering is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Production Engineer, with a proven track record of improving production performance.
- Experience in LNG pre-treatment processes is required.
- Proven experience in supporting commissioning activities.
- Oil and gas experience is required, with preference for LNG experience, though petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience will be considered.
