A global leader in intermediate and performance chemicals—used in coatings, lubricants, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, flavors, inks, and plastics—is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead and coordinate all PSM and RMP compliance efforts.
What You’ll Do:

Lead PHAs, HAZOPs, and Process Safety Reviews for new and modified installations

Serve as MOC/MOOC administrator and process safety reviewer for CapEx projects

Conduct Level A & B incident investigations and ensure compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP
-
Act as site expert on LOPA, SIL, and risk assessment methodologies

Perform P&ID field audits, support audits, and drive site-wide process safety excellence
What You Bring:

Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or similar
-
5+ years of plant operations or process engineering experience

Strong background in PHAs, HAZOPs, and process safety tools

Knowledge of PSM/RMP regulatory frameworks

Strong leadership, communication, and technical writing skills
