Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Operations Analyst – Retail Energy for our client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations professional to contribute to the operations policies and procedures for commercial retail power customers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing operational processes, ensuring the accuracy of customer-related data, and collaborating with both internal teams and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Execute operations for commercial retail power customers, ensuring the adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Verify compliance with process controls, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Evaluate operational efficiency and make suggestions for enhancing processes.
- Accurately input customer information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Communicate with brokers and customers, resolving inquiries and providing solutions to operational issues.
- Monitor pre- and post-deal usage requests, customer enrollments, drops, payment transactions, and billing usage to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies between payment and billing details to ensure resolution.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Retail Energy operation.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or additional relevant experience in Retail Energy Operations.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent research abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Suite products.
- Experience with Payment Applications is a plus.
- Understanding of EDI transactions and quantitative data analysis is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
- PJM experience is preferred.
- Experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) markets is required, and PJM market experience is preferred.
