Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to support a large-scale logistics organization. In this role, you will oversee daily supply chain operations, manage shipments, and coordinate with service providers and customers to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery. You will analyze processes, optimize workflows, and proactively resolve issues, making a measurable impact on operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily supply chain operations to guarantee on-time and accurate execution.
- Organize and process documentation for customer orders, transportation, production, and service provider coordination.
- Monitor shipments, timelines, costs, and productivity to maintain efficiency and operational excellence.
- Prepare, review, and route purchase orders, bills of lading, and related operational documents.
- Address customer inquiries promptly and resolve shipment or inventory issues efficiently.
- Track and analyze KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support business development and supply chain management teams to expand the customer base.
- Proactively forecast and track customer and service provider needs.
- Evaluate service provider performance and manage minor pricing negotiations.
- Maintain accurate internal system records and documentation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance logistical efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics, shipping, freight, or transportation management.
- Account management or customer service experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements in logistics operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software; familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to generate executive-level reports.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
