Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Customer Care Tier II – Utilities for a large, established client. This position allows you to leverage your customer service experience to resolve complex inquiries while contributing to a highly respected company in the utility sector. You will be trained to handle incoming customer requests, provide real-time solutions, and create positive, lasting interactions with each caller.
Responsibilities
- Respond to non-routine customer inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding billing, policies, and services.
- Assist customers with online account access, mobile app requests, and energy usage education.
- Research issues and determine suitable actions to provide solution-driven results.
- Record and process customer commitments accurately.
- Meet daily performance metrics and schedule adherence requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members as needed.
- Adapt responses to unique customer situations while maintaining corporate policy standards.
- Follow up with customers to ensure one-contact resolution whenever possible.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and online customer platforms.
- Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures for handling customer requests.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
