We are looking for a Commissions Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team and manage the comprehensive “end-to-end” processing of commissions and sales incentive payments. Key Responsibilities:
- Commission Plan Administration: Oversee daily operations of broker and sales compensation plans, ensuring accurate and timely payments in accordance with plan provisions.
- Data Management & Analysis: Monitor contracts and deals across systems to maintain accurate data and analyze errors/issues to identify root causes and develop long-term solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key point of contact for brokers and sales teams to address inquiries and resolve issues related to commission payments.
- Process & System Improvements: Drive process and system enhancements to increase efficiency, including the automation of manual tasks.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and publish regular reports, including monthly and quarterly commission summaries, and ensure proper documentation of processes.
- Exception Handling: Address complex broker compensation issues and discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience in commissions, contracts, or billing, ideally within the retail energy industry.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, Power Query, macros), with SQL experience a plus. Familiarity with Power BI is highly desirable.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and improve existing processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Self-Motivation & Organization: A proactive, self-driven individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B retail energy or commissions management, especially for large commercial customers.
- Knowledge of broker billing and commission payment systems.
- Familiarity with revenue management systems like Telometry.
- Experience with process automation and cross-functional team collaboration.
