Credit Risk Analyst-Global Resource Company-Galleria Area

Global Resource Company is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst for an immediate high priority project. This is an innovative company who promotes smart thinking and seeks those who want to be challenged. You will be developing and establishing the credit processes through risk evaluation and recommendations within the petroleum sector.

Responsibilities include:
-Develop and decide on credit worthiness and risk levels of vendors and potential joint venture partners
-Mange credit risk reviews, parent company guarantees, bank guarantees, and letters of credit
-Advise on credit issues in contracts or agreements with identification and recommendation of credit risk mitigation strategies and trade finance tools
-Manage the petroleum accounts for credit information and evaluation from providers
-Implement governance framework including approvals framework, CART, CAR, and supply policies and procedures

Qualifying candidates will possess the following:
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent, MBA or CPA highly preferred
-6 plus years experience in finance or accounting with 2 plus in credit risk evaluations
-Advance skills in Microsoft Office
-Previous experience SAP preferred
